The Westminster Abbey

It was the weekend of the Remembrance Day in the UK when I was there. The crosses and poppies in front of the Westminster Abbey reminds us the end of hostilities in the First World War at 11 a.m. in 1918. It adds an interesting mood to the photo, kind of sad, at least for me.

Big Ben

It wouldn’t be a visit to London without seeing the Big Ben. So this is my most recent photo of it. The rush in this part of the city is huge, cars, trucks and buses are everywhere. Sometimes it’s really difficult to get a picture you want. Fortunately the long exposure sorts this problem out really nicely:).

Standing Stones in Callanish

These stones in Callanish (Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland) are probably something like Stonehenge but smaller. We don’t exactly know what they mean. For me, it’s not that important. I just like the way they look:).
