Nature in South Africa is a little bit different from what we have here in Europe. There are these interesting trees and grass which together create nice whole. This particular image is from the hike to Table Mountain in Cape Town.

I’m so busy with non-photography stuff lately that I’m almost unable to take any new photos. This picture is a bit older but I processed it recently. Usually I don’t do black-and-white but this one felt like B&W:).

This is one of my older images. I took this few days before Christmas last year when I was visiting my friend in Belgium.

When I get bored with my usual post-processing I like trying something new. Few days ago I felt like black-and-white. I browsed through my unprocessed images and I found this picture of pendulum which is here in Prague at Letenske sady. After I was done with the B&W conversion I wasn’t quite sure that it’s all. So I did a little experiment with different kinds of blurs and I finally decided to go for this crazy look. Sometimes I get dizzy when I look at this but that’s exactly what I like about it:).

There was quite a huge storm here in Prague yesterday. Fortunately, it stopped just before the sunset and I felt the sunset could be nice. So I went outside to one of my favourite spots. The rest is in the picture:).

I haven't posted a photo for quite some time. I've been busy with my school work (and I still am). I have few days now when I can get back to my photography.

It’s been almost a year since I visited South Africa. This picture is from the Drakensberg area which I liked very much. There is something special about the sun in Africa which is hard to describe. If you experience a sunset there, it’s very difficult to find a better one. I was fortunate to experience couple of them last year and I hope I’ll experience some more in the future.

Geotagging the photos

Maybe you noticed there is a small map after almost every photo I post here. When I started taking pictures I sometimes took so many I couldn't remember where I took them. Some time ago I found a useful little app that helps me with that. It's called [](https://www.geotagphotos.net/en/)

My latest walk to this bridge was just yesterday. The conditions were great (I didn’t freeze:)) and this photo is what I had in mind.

If you want to get the similar mood in your pictures, this kind of colours are in the first 30-40 minutes after the sunset. Photographers call this the blue hour. For me it’s probably the most favourite time to shoot landscape photographs.

This is the building I haven’t photographed for a long time even though I live quite close to it. I guess sometimes we miss the nice places that are really close to us thinking that it’s better somewhere far away. Fortunately in this case I corrected my mistake.
