Charles Bridge in Winter

Winter is slowly coming. I found this photo of the Charles bridge and the castle which I took in January this year.

Bratislava Castle

View from the bank of the river in Bratislava is quite photogenic and I took advantage of it while I was there.

Chain Bridge

This bridge is perhaps the most famous bridge in Budapest. We were there during cold weather and I am glad I managed to wait for the long exposures:).

Kampa at Night

Today I’ve decided to post one of my older photos. I took this last winter when trying out the new camera.

Fifteen

While walking from the city centre in Vienna I spotted this interesting bridge and couldn’t resist:).

Towers of the Old Town Square

One of the most visited places here in Prague is the Old Town Square. Here are the towers you can see from far away.

Prague Castle after Sunset

This is a picture I really didn’t plan on taking. I was on my way home walking on the bridge when I saw this scene. Even though my fingers were already frozen from previous shooting I set up my tripod and took several pictures. I am quite glad I did:).

Frozen Benches

I remember this evening as really cold one. These benches are a nice place to relax for a while but I guess not at this time:).

Charles Bridge at Night

I have taken many pictures of this old bridge, apparently I have missed some great angles:). I changed that yesterday. It was really cold outside and it seems to me that I go out only when I have a great chance to freeze. Anyway, I survived it:).

Happy New Year 2014!

Another year has gone by and here we are in 2014. I wish all of you only the best and let this year be much better than the previous one.

We have official fireworks here in Prague a day later so families with small children can enjoy it as well (at least I guess this is the reason). The place where they fired the stuff has changed a bit so I decided to try a different location this year. I am glad I did, the view was great. Enjoy!
