The Resting Sheep

The sheep in Scotland (or at least in Outer Hebrides) are everywhere. They feed on the grass almost anywhere you look. During our trip there we stayed up a little longer so we could enjoy the sunset. I took this image on the Isle of Lewis near Callanish standing stones.

Stornoway Sunset

I encountered this sunset while walking to the first camp during my Scottish trip. It was in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The weather was unusual for this area but I really didn’t complain about that (I complaint about the midges:)).

Lonely Boat

This boat was floating on a loch on the Isle of Lewis. It looked so abandoned and the water surface was so calm I had to take a photo of it.

The Calm Sunset

We spent the second night on the Isle of Lewis near the Callanish Standing Stones. The sun sets there really late, it’s not dark even at 11pm. So I had to stay up late and wait for the right time. Fortunately we decided to go for a late walk. Later that evening the clouds together with the sun created beautiful sceneries. One of them is this photo.

Just so you know, it wasn’t so perfect to be there, the midges there wanted to eat us alive:). If you ever go there, make sure you have some kind of repellent otherwise you won’t enjoy the time there as much as you could.
