When we arrived at the Table Mountain in Cape Town it was completely covered with clouds. Luckily, it cleared after a while and we had great weather for the rest of the hike. In this picture, you can see the restaurant and one of the nice places to look around.

I captured this while on the way to the Table Mountain in Cape Town. I continue with a little experimentation in post-processing. I tried B&W for this, mainly because this was shot around midday when the light is too harsh. This way there is much more obvious emphasis on the lines and shapes which I like here.

When we walked up to the Table Mountain near Cape Town last year, I made some pictures along the way. Recently I went through them and I found this one:).

Nature in South Africa is a little bit different from what we have here in Europe. There are these interesting trees and grass which together create nice whole. This particular image is from the hike to Table Mountain in Cape Town.

It’s been almost a year since I visited South Africa. This picture is from the Drakensberg area which I liked very much. There is something special about the sun in Africa which is hard to describe. If you experience a sunset there, it’s very difficult to find a better one. I was fortunate to experience couple of them last year and I hope I’ll experience some more in the future.

Let me take you to the South Africa today. This sunset happened last summer in Drakensberg. Actually it was winter down there. The setting sun on the other side of the sky created this great colors which I want to share with you.

This is a St. George’s Cathedral in the centre of Cape Town. When I visited this church with my friends it was empty and I could capture its beauty. I think HDR processing makes it even better.

Day after visiting the Kruger Park we went to see the mines near the town. The weather was not very nice but at least it created an interesting scene. I have the before and after version here as well to show what I did with the photo in post-processing.

When we were in South Africa we saw people burning grass in many places. Drakensberg was no exception. The cloudy things you can see in this picture are not clouds, it’s the smoke from those fires. I think it created an interesting effect for the photo.
