The Gherkin

This is one of the famous modern buildings in London. The area around it is not huge and without the wide-angle lens it’s difficult to get the whole building into the frame. I focused on the bottom of the building which I find interesting. Also the weather wasn’t the best it could be for taking pictures. Nevertheless I think it helped a bit to bring out the vibrant colors of the autumn leaves.

Westminster Abbey

Today I prepared another photo of the Westminster Abbey, this time photographed from its front. This angle is less known, at least for me. There is quite wide road in front of the entrance and it looks like pavement (so no cars…). So I walked to the middle of it and started to prepare for the shot when suddenly cab passed by in front of me. What a surprise:). Anyway, I managed to stay alive and made this shot:).

Little Square in Bruges

I wonder how this little square looks like during Christmas…or the whole Bruges. I bet it’s magical:).

London Aquarium

I visited London at least five times but I’ve never visited this aquarium. So at least I have a photo of it:-).

The St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral

This photo is probably the last one I took when I visited Brussels (together with my friend). This is really huge cathedral and its beautiful (from the outside and from the inside as well). If you ever go to Brussels, make sure you visit this place (and it’s not far from the central railway station so there’s no excuse;-)).
