Dock in Cape Town

Posted by on Jul 15, 2012 in Africa, Canon EOS 60D, Cape Town, HDR, Travel | 0 comments

It was cloudy and raining sometimes the first day we were in Cape Town. We went to the docks that day in the evening. When it was raining quite hard I took this picture (I was standing under some bridge, fortunately:)).

This is another photo from Amphitheatre in Drakensberg, South Africa. It is winter there right now so everything is yellowish and brownish. Nevertheless, it looks great and the sunset makes it even better:).

We spent two whole days in Cape Town. The first day was not very warm or sunny, it rained almost the entire day. I wanted to see the harbor so we went there in the evening. This is one of the places that we’ve seen that night:).

Amphitheatre Drakensberg

The Amphitheatre in the Northern Drakensberg is considered to be one of the most impressive cliff faces on our planet. The actual cliff faces are not in this photo but they’re really close:) (a bit more to the right). We stayed nearby in the camp for just two nights. I took this from there the first evening. The sunset was simply stunning.

View from the Table Mountain in Cape Town

Posted by on Jul 9, 2012 in Africa, Canon EOS 60D, Cape Town, HDR, Sunset, Travel | 0 comments

I spent last two weeks travelling around South Africa. It’s an amazing country with many beautiful places. But it’s also very diverse. You can find large mansions here and also small houses made out of the clay. You have the ocean, nice beaches and also the mountains.

This photo is from the famous Table Mountain over the Cape Town. We were really lucky because the weather was amazing. The top was still in the clouds in the morning but after we hiked up it all cleared up and the view was just incredible. We stayed there until the sunset and that’s when I took this picture. We then took the cable car to get from the top.

I have many more photos from this journey, stay tuned for more:).
