Toulouse Cathedral

This irregular cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Toulouse in French) consists of two incomplete churches (according to Wikipedia). It looks quite strange from the outside and even more from the inside. I usually have troubles with my tripod in many churches. They don’t like it when I use it (but most of the time I figure something out:). I was quite surprised I had no problem in Toulouse.

The Spiral

Taking pictures during the night takes patience. You often have to wait for many long seconds for picture to get exposed properly. If it’s cold, it’s even worse:). This one was no exception. I took it in Toulouse by the river. Fortunately the temperature was quite ok:).

Road to Tournefeuille

The first evening in Toulouse ended with a great pizza at Mongelli Pizzas. The pizza there is delicious, if you’re ever nearby, make sure to check it out. These nice trees were on the way there. I was with my uncle and even though we were hungry, my uncle suggested we should take some pictures. I’m glad he did:).

I visited Toulouse last weekend. The fortified city of Carcassonne is nearby so why not take some pictures:). This is taken from the Pont-Neuf so the old bridge would be in the picture as well.
