Pont Saint-Pierre

Night shots are always a bit more difficult than other shots. You need much more time for the exposure and you never know if the tripod haven’t moved during the exposure. I check the pictures afterwards because it happened more than once that I came home and all I got was one blurry image after another:). Now I know better.

I took this while standing on Pont Saint-Pierre in Toulouse. The bridge was a bit shaky so it took some time to get sharp pictures.

This is another one of the photos I made in Toulouse in one of its churches. I had to aim my lens through the bars to get the shot. It was difficult with the tripod (the wide-angle lens is not very helpful in cases like this:) ) but I managed it and this is the result.

Pont Vieux

This bridge is quite old and leads to the Carcassonne castle. I waited for about an hour to get this shot. I actually didn’t even step on that bridge but it looked interesting:). Maybe next time I’ll take another path.

Toulouse Bridges

I’ve decided to create an HDR version of this photo from Toulouse just to see the difference. The first one is the HDR version:

And this one is just the middle exposure tweaked a bit in Lightroom:

Not a huge difference but I like the HDR version a bit more.
