Phalaborwa Mines

Day after visiting the Kruger Park we went to see the mines near the town. The weather was not very nice but at least it created an interesting scene. I have the before and after version here as well to show what I did with the photo in post-processing.

The Smoke

When we were in South Africa we saw people burning grass in many places. Drakensberg was no exception. The cloudy things you can see in this picture are not clouds, it’s the smoke from those fires. I think it created an interesting effect for the photo.

After Hours in Durban

Durban is one of the few places in South Africa where we had quite warm weather (we were there in winter). It was so warm we could swim in the ocean which was fun:). I took this when we were leaving the beach and heading back to the hostel.
