The Smoke
When we were in South Africa we saw people burning grass in many places. Drakensberg was no exception. The cloudy things you can see in this picture are not clouds, it’s the smoke from those fires. I think it created an interesting effect for the photo.

The Pond
When going back from the walk around the backpackers lodge in Amphitheatre, I stumbled upon this small pond.

Path to the Mountains
Today I continue with the area around the Amphitheatre in Drakensberg in South Africa. This is one of the photos I really like. It shows the local beauty in its full power:).

The Tree in the Wind
Here is another of the photos I made during the trip in South Africa. This is near the Amphitheatre in Drakensberg.

The Lonely Hill
This was quite strange hill sitting in the middle of nowhere. Small remains of the smoke (or clouds?) over the horizon make the sky a bit more interesting.

The Pink Sunset
This is another photo from the evening in Drakensberg with the colorful sunset you don’t see everyday. Those clouds above the mountains are not clouds, it’s the smoke from fires nearby. People there just burn grass to prevent bigger fires from happening. They said it helped so I guess they know what they’re doing:).
