The Pink Sunset

This is another photo from the evening in Drakensberg with the colorful sunset you don’t see everyday. Those clouds above the mountains are not clouds, it’s the smoke from fires nearby. People there just burn grass to prevent bigger fires from happening. They said it helped so I guess they know what they’re doing:).

Empty Chairs

This is a photo I took last year in Ghent in St. Pieter’s Abbey. Actually, all the churches in Ghent I visited were really nice, not just this one.

Taking pictures in churches is often quite difficult because you can’t use tripod, sometimes even your camera. Fortunately in this case I used my tripod and even my camera:). It was really deserted so nobody protested:). And when the tripod is forbidden, there is always the little GorillaPod you can use. I didn’t have a problem with using it anywhere so far.

The Street in Cape Town

The first evening in Cape Town was quite impressive, at least if I’m talking about the sky and sunset. The streets were quite calm with not many cars. You can see the Table Mountain on the left and the Signal Hill on the right.
