Pont Saint-Pierre

Night shots are always a bit more difficult than other shots. You need much more time for the exposure and you never know if the tripod haven’t moved during the exposure. I check the pictures afterwards because it happened more than once that I came home and all I got was one blurry image after another:). Now I know better.

I took this while standing on Pont Saint-Pierre in Toulouse. The bridge was a bit shaky so it took some time to get sharp pictures.

This is another one of the photos I made in Toulouse in one of its churches. I had to aim my lens through the bars to get the shot. It was difficult with the tripod (the wide-angle lens is not very helpful in cases like this:) ) but I managed it and this is the result.

Pont Vieux

This bridge is quite old and leads to the Carcassonne castle. I waited for about an hour to get this shot. I actually didn’t even step on that bridge but it looked interesting:). Maybe next time I’ll take another path.

Sunset over the Castle

Beautifully colored sunsets always amaze me. You get this kind of light shortly after the sun leaves the horizon (but not always). I made this picture on the way to the Charles Bridge. I wanted this kind of light when I was on that bridge but I miscalculated the time when I should leave my home. Anyway I think I didn’t miss anything here:).
