The Corner at Vyšehrad

I was really surprised by the place around the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul at Vyšehrad in Prague. The view from there is great and there are hidden places I’ve never seen before. This one is not really hidden but I liked the brick wall and the lamps that just started to shine. The wide angle made it even better:). Click on the image to see it much bigger.

I made another visit to one of the Prague’s famous places. This one is at Vyšehrad. It’s strange but in five years I’ve been living in Prague I’ve visited this place only once and never with my camera. Now I can finally check this as done:).

Fountain at Prague Castle

This photo was taken with my first wide-angle lens. It is 8-16mm Sigma and it’s great:). The angle you can capture with it is just spectacular. It’s a whole different view through this lens and it offers me new way how to capture the world around me. I need to learn how to use it so the photos benefit from it. This is one of the first pieces.

Stornoway Sunset

I encountered this sunset while walking to the first camp during my Scottish trip. It was in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The weather was unusual for this area but I really didn’t complain about that (I complaint about the midges:)).
